The different formats available to Toptenn players (both internally through Toptenn coaches and programs, and externally through Toptenn's affiliated clubs) are listed below. Click on the button that corresponds to your players stage.

Orange Stage Competition

Introduction

Orange stage competition is all about introducing players to a fun, supportive and positive experience. Above everything else, we want Orange stage players to leave their first competition event bursting with confidence and happy to have participated. There is still scoring and finalists, but the emphasis is on the process and individual targets/task-based goals.

Green Stage Competition

Introduction

Green Stage competition involves the move from the Orange Stage court to the full size court, and the transition away from entry competition rules/modifications. It's all about getting more and more match practice using full tennis rules and executing more advanced tactical concepts for doubles and singles.

Green Stage Opens (Termly)

Run by Toptenn Tennis

Toptenn's Green Stage Open is held on the Sunday after the 10th week of every term from 3:30-5:30pm. Registrations always open in week 5, and the limited positions are available to the first Green Stage players to register. The Green Stage Toptenn Open is the perfect way for players to practice executing and experimenting with strategies by building and building upon their match experience in a supportive environment. The more Green Stage players compete, the better! The Green Stage Open gives players the opportunity to challenge themselves against other Toptenn Green Stage players in at least 5 matches whilst learning the best game-styles for you, and how to counter others. How does your court position affect your opponent? How does theirs impact upon you? How do you stop them hitting forehands? How can you return their massive serve? The Green Stage Open is the best way to explore these questions and more.
