Toptenn Covid-safe Policies

Toptenn Tennis is back in action! However, during this period of restrictions, things will look a little bit different. Here are a few Toptenn policies and procedures in place to ensure tennis can continue safely and considerately.

Group Sizes

  • Groups will be back to our normal size of 6 players as of 9th November

  • Coaches will be operating lesson plans to ensure physical distancing during lessons.

  • To see details and costs for our different group programs please visit the links below:

  • For private and semi-private lesson structure and cost, please visit out private lesson page below.

  • Due to reduced access to our office, to ensure your booking comes through, online booking is preferred.

  • If you have any questions, our office team will be contactable on 9830 6618 or 0438 046 447

  • To book private/semi-private lessons, you must book through the office team to ensure a position.

  • It will be a first in, first served system so if you are keen to get back on court, please ensure you book ASAP to lock in your preferred class time.

  • Online bookings will only be available for court hire. Court Hire is only available at the Burwood Tennis Club. Cost to hire a court is $25/hr for all non club members (Toptenn students included)

  • To book a court online, please visit the following link

  • Venues available to book lessons are; Burwood, Deepdene, North Kew & Highfield Rd

  • Unavailable venues are; Bluebell Hill, Aqualink Box Hill & All Toptenn Primary Schools

Before Class Procedure

  • Anyone entering the court space must hand sanitise on entry. Hand sanitiser will be provided at all venues.

  • Please do not enter court space until your booking begins and the coach has waved you in.

Use of Facilities

  • Students will have access to toilet facilities during the time of their booking.

  • No entry permitted to clubhouse except for student toilet use.

In Class Procedure

  • All staff have been briefed and trained on the hygiene and physical distancing measures we have in place.

  • There is to be no sharing of equipment during lessons and where equipment is to be re-used, it will be sanitised prior to re-use.

  • Parents may not enter the courts. Only 1 supervising guardian may be present per player. We ask that you drop your students off and remain parked nearby (especially in the event of inclement weather) to reduce gathering around courts.

After Class Procedure

  • Anyone leaving the courts must hand sanitise after their lesson. Coaches will have sanitation packs on court for students and there will be hand sanitiser at the club which you can also use.

  • Please practise social distancing at court entry/exit points to allow safe entry and exit for players.
